The Stampede contributes to the quality of life in Calgary and southern Alberta through its world-renowned 10-day Stampede, year-round facilities, western events and several youth and agriculture programs. All revenue is reinvested into Calgary Stampede programs and facilities.

Fringes are uncensored, non-juried theatre festivals. The first Fringe started in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1947, and has grown into one of the biggest arts festivals in the world.

The Festival creates a dreamlike balance of urban and bucolic, friendly and far-out, superfly and earthy. From the godfathers and grandmothers, the kings and queens who helped create their musical genres, to the rebels, romantics and revolutionaries of the

current decade, it's Calgary's annual journey into the heart and soul of the roots and evolution of the music we like to call folk, with an edge.

Calgary's festival of fabulous food and distinguishing drinks is back!  Taste of Calgary returns to the Festival Plaza @ Eau Claire August 11 - 14, 2011 with sensational samples from Calgary’s most interesting restaurants and beverage companies.   

Founded in 2003, CUFF is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to programming films that defy convention. Through the screening of contemporary works in various categories that include: feature, documentary, animation, short, and experimental - we bring Calgarians a unique roster of films rarely seen in North American theatres.
